It is about Celcom.
It is about my frustration towards their service, or should I be calling it a service?
Read here.
Furtherance to millions of complaints to them, one superb Celcom personnel finally came to my rescue.
Nor Haibah Othman aka Ebba based in Johor Bahru, bersusah payah (yeah you should, after all you are being paid to susah payah for your customer kan.. haha), truly bersusah payah, to troubleshoot the problem that I was facing with their not-so-customer-oriented-service.
Ye lah, kita kan kat Malaysia. Everything must be done for the sake of doing it. Kan?
But not to Ebba. Amidst all the peluh and darah yang keluar dari telinga dan mata dek my complaint(s), she managed to find an amicable solution and I finally been given a new number. That was couple of months ago. And that number reflects my job.
The service is, I must say better than the competitors except, (yes, Ebba if you are reading this), reception at home is like I am somewhere near Gunung Kinabalu sebab everytime ada call, I have to do my shuffling around the house (and no, I can't dance) untuk cari signal. Thank you sebab sekali jek depa dari teknikal datang depan rumah tetiba untuk check dengan lori yang macam nak pindahkan aku dari rumah aku.
Janice from Celcom's marketing dept in Johor is no exception too. She, too had helped to get me the best number and package as to compensate selain untuk menyejukkan hati nurani dan jantungku yang membara bila dengar perkataan Celcom.
Both of them reflects the true meaning of customer service. Itu baru customer service, with PR.
Prior, my usage can sometimes melebihi ok, tipu, melampau lampau terlebih dari credit limit, thus Janice had suggested Power 148 package.
Siapa yang aku call sampai terlebih lebih ni. Boleh tak next time, aku buat macamana kekawan aku yang ada handphone memahal tapi takder credit, maka dengan ikhlasnya mereka selalu miss call aku? But don't worry, aku pun kekadang ikhlas return call.
This package is actually better than the one I am getting from Maxis Iphone package. Potong leher package Maxis iphone tu.
It comes with free broadband internet connection using Vodafone that can be connected to your lappy.

On the right is Vodafone while on the left, is nano charger, tapi bukan macam nano water filter tu. This is better.
This Vodafone that was given to me by Janice amat amat berguna. Masa traveling and in need of sending my scripts, I will just connect it to my notebook and voila, it is even faster than streamyx. Much much and much better. Knowing streamyx kan! Everything in this world is better than streamyx. Macam tak tahu pulak korang.
At times, I can even use it to transmit visuals via ftp and till now, masih tidak menghampakan, except kalau transfer dari rumah, maka akan keluarlah sumpah seranah kat Celcom. Tak tahulah bila depa nak datang pasang repeater. Kalau sudi datanglah ya. Kami sediakan jemput jemput dengan cekodok, siap dengan kopi panas. Kalau nak tapau, bawak sekali mangkuk tingkat.
A joint venture by Vodafone and Celcom, this handphone is truly truly unique and user friendly. Upon connection via USB port, terus kuar window to install its program dan tak perlu buku manual to install. As easy as 1,2,3. Senang jek, and it is however reception dependable. Kalau reception 3G bagus, belum klik dah kuar windows. Laju.
Nano charger that was given to me memang useful. You charge the nano charger and it is a mobile charger. Amat amat mudah untuk those yang selalu mobile. Tak perlu nak risau nak cari tempat cucuk that charger of yours kat kedai kopi sampai kena jeling dengan barrister sebab ko minum secawan kopi tapi duduk sampai satu kampung.
Once the nano charger is fully charged, it became a mobile electrical supply. Connect it to your phone using the converter that comes together with the charger, and *poof* your phone is fully charged. Senang kan? A friend of mine, so amazed with this gadget, sampai merayu suruh jual kat dia. Tapi sebab dia nak beli macam harga buah nangka sekilo, aku menolak dengan senyuman tawar macam buah ciku peram pakai kabait setengah kilo. Tapi memang ia amat amat berguna. Dan ia dapat mengelakkan dari guna car charger RM10 yang tahan cuma seminggu atau dua minggu jek pastu cigarette lighter rosak.
The setback of this charger is, aku tak boleh charge my iphone. Lagipun bukan Celcom yang jual iphone kat Malaysia ni, so there is no reason to have iphone converter with it.
Truly, the package recommended to me is well worth. Sebab ia lebih murah ratenya pabila aku call orang orang yang miss call aku. And it is considerably cheap calling fixed line. And considering kerja aku, maka ia mengurangkan belanja handphone agar isteriku dapat beli beg Gucci kat Metro di Singapura Ahad ini, sebab ada big sale going on.
Tetapi, yang paling tak suka ialah beritahu semua orang bahawasanya aku dah tukar nombor. Leceh. Amat amat leceh. Ehh bukan ker Janice janji nak tolong buat tu semua? Better check with her.
And nope, they not gonna give me free Celcom Broadband for writing this, although, kalau bagi pun, aku tak kecik hati. Betul Ebba and Janice, saya tak kecik hati langsung kalau you all bagi. You all kan baik. Baik sesangat.
For those yang selalu bergerak, Celcom is your answer (obviously that is ayat mengampu kan), tetapi memang betul, their rate is better. Kalau nak complaint pasal reception, memanglah sampai kiamat pun camtu, tapi, it all depends on your usage and where you are kan.
So, apa lagi, head down to Celcom centre and migrate to Celcom and me, I shall wait at the door for Ebba or Janice to pass me my brand new Blackberry Storm.

Aku dulu kejap je pakai Maxis...then terus beralih arah ke Celcom sampai sekarang...dan dekat 7 tahun...
Aku bayar bil on time...aku pakai banyak..kredit limit aku dengan sukarela ditambah oleh Celcom tanpa aku mintak pasal diorang tgk usage...ada la sekali dua kena bar pasal lambat bayar kejap, tapi on d spot aku pi bayar terus...
Aku nak pakai Broadband tapi kat umah aku 3G tak stabil, maklum lah Perlis kan...so aku terpaksa stick to stimik...
Soalan aku berdasarkan pernyataan di atas...tak boley ke kasi aku Vodafone tuuuu...aku tak nak Storm pasal takde WiFi..yg tu kasi Hazrey je...hehe..
